When is best time to start looking for scholarships?
The sooner the better. Searching for scholarships does take time so it is a good idea to start early and search often. Eligibility requirements and deadline dates may vary from year to year, so be sure review the details carefully.

If I receive a scholarship, how do I claim the award?

In the majority of the cases your award letter will also contain an Acceptance Agreement that must be signed and returned to Montgomery County Community Foundation no later than June 15. Once your acceptance agreement has been approved and processed, an MCCF check will be requested for your scholarship award. The check will be issued to you and the school that you will attend and mailed to your home address during the last week of July.
