MCCF Hiring Office Coordinator


Position: Office Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


This employee is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for providing quality, friendly service to those calling or personally entering the office. This position is often the first impression people get about MCCF and therefore public perception is very important.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
  • Excellent public relations skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Team player

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, sort and preview incoming mail
    • Retrieve and save any publicity from newspapers
  • Data management and entry in Raisers Edge which include all gift data entry for constituents
  • Prepare and send donor gift acknowledgements
  • Maintain the community room scheduling
  • Plan and assemble mass mailings
  • Answer telephone in a professional manner
    • Provide necessary information to caller or forward to appropriate person
  • Inventory office supplies and stationery and order as needed
  • Attend board meetings as needed to assist with meeting minutes
  • Coordinate the MCCF Annual Meeting
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer
    • Maintain a gift spreadsheet in accordance with internal control procedures
    • Make bank deposits as needed
  • Provide support to MCCF programming
    • Processing documents from scholarship and grant recipients
    • Potentially working with program software and databases
    • Assisting program directors with various tasks
  • Additional support as needed to the Chief Executive Officer
