Unrestricted Grant Cycle
2026 Grantmaking
Each year through our unrestricted and field of interest funds, we are able to make grants available through these competitive grant cycles. Areas of granting are Arts & Culture, Community Development, Education, Health, Historical, Human Services and Youth.
Because of what we heard during our 2019 Nonprofit Listening Series and the Community Chats, Early Childhood Education is an area of special emphasis.
The 2026 Grant Guidelines, including eligibility requirements, are also included under the “How to Apply” tab.

- Bradley and Suzanne Deur Mullendore Fund
- Amy Robinson Fund
- Libby Whitecotton Fund
A qualifying nonprofit organization may apply for itself or on behalf of a qualifying individual. Public schools in Montgomery County may also apply on a student’s behalf for the Larsen, Hudson, Robinson and Mullendore Funds.
Proposals are accepted at any time throughout the year, as funds remain available. For information about how to apply and detailed descriptions of these funds, please click here.
Women's Legacy Fund Grants
The Women’s Legacy Fund (WLF) of Montgomery County Community Foundation is a group of women committed to making a positive impact on the lives of women and children in Montgomery County. Each member makes a philanthropic gift, a portion of which is granted this year and a portion is added to the grow the WLF endowment.
Their gifts, along with the annual distribution from the endowment, are used to offer grants that address the needs of women and children in Montgomery County.
WLF Grant applications are now considered in both the Spring and Fall grant cycles rather than a separate process as in the past.
