Description:

The Thelma Biddle Nolte Scholarship Fund was established as a bequest from Mrs. Nolte to grant scholarships to deserving students graduating from the public high schools in Montgomery County, Indiana. The scholarships are given to honor the memory of the following persons who had long and distinguished careers as educators:

Elmer J. Biddle, teacher in Waynetown, Indiana

Homer E. Biddle, teacher in Crawfordsville, Indiana

Pauline Biddle Conover, principal in Thorntown, Indiana; counselor and mathematics teacher for Crawfordsville High School

Thelma Biddle Nolte, from Waynetown, Indiana, who served as a music and art teacher for 34 years in Indiana and Illinois

  • See your high school guidance counselor to see if you are eligible
Requirements:
  • High school seniors desiring to apply for the Nolte Scholarship must pick up an application from their Guidance Counselor
