MCCF COVID-19 Update 3/17/20

As we all continue to navigate the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we wanted to inform you about the steps the Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF) is taking to protect the health and safety of our staff, donors, and visitors, as well as to support our community.

Our office is taking necessary precautions and will remain open. However, effective Tuesday, March 17, we are limiting the number of people coming into our building for the immediate future to practice safe social distancing, as recommended by public health officials and Governor Eric Holcomb.

Although our daily procedures are temporarily changing, there are still many ways to stay in contact with the MCCF office.

• You may continue to reach our staff via phone (765-362-1267) or by email.

• Kelly Taylor may be reached by phone or text at 765-366-0181.

• Online donations are accepted 24/7 via our website ( and are also accepted via mail (P.O. Box 334, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). Contributions will be processed as quickly as possible.

All previously scheduled in-person meetings or events with MCCF staff will be cancelled, rescheduled, or conducted by phone. In addition, the MCCF board room and conference room will be closed to outside meetings until Wednesday, April 1.

We are reaching out to area nonprofits to determine how MCCF can be most effective in supporting their work. Many of them will have an increased need for financial support so that they may not only continue to serve their existing clients, but also serve an increasing number of clients who are directly affected.

This is an unprecedented health crisis and we will be monitoring communications from state and local officials. By doing our part to stop the spread of this virus, we can help ensure the safety of our community and those we serve every day.

Additional updates will be provided in the coming days and weeks via email, our website, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.)
