A Successful Scholarship Season!

7.10.15

The month of May was an exciting time for local high school students, as the Montgomery County Community Foundation awarded over $168,900 to graduating seniors!

First was Crawfordsville High School, where 39 awards totaling $172,360 were presented at the school’s Honor Night on May 13th. CHS also had the 2015 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar, Lacey Garrett. Lacey will receive full tuition and a $900 book stipend at the Indiana college of her choice for four years.

Next was North Montgomery High School’s Awards Night held May 20th. Thirty-five awards totaling $45,900 were handed out to some very happy students!

Last but not least, 40 awards totaling $51,300 was awarded to Southmont High School seniors at their Honor Night on May 29th.

We were so happy to have a few of our donors on hand to present their awards, as well as MCCF Board members. The Montgomery County Community Foundation congratulates all of the 2015 graduates and wishes them the best in their future endeavors!
