The Montgomery County Community Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to help link caring citizens with community needs through philanthropy. Since 1991 we have awarded over $12,000,000 in grants and scholarships due to the faithful partnership of our donors! Our investment is in the future of our community and our intention is to help the people we live and work with everyday.
We invite you to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved by spending a few minutes browsing our website. We have many ways of helping you achieve your charitable goals and look forward to discussing your ideas about making our community an even better place to live.
Our mission is building bridges to support the future of Montgomery County
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
Each year, MCCF identifies a nonprofit organization that has a special need and asks donors to consider a gift to MCCF designated for this cause - and we selected the Boys and Girls Club of Montgomery County. A gift of $50 provided funding for transportation for one school semester for a child to go to afterschool care at the Boys and Girls Club. Many working parents depend upon this transportation and the services provided by the Club to provide their children with a safe and affordable place to go after school.
Because of your generosity, we were able to present a check for $675 to Craig Reeves, Director of the Boys and Girls Club. The Club provides important services to many parents in our community and we appreciate your support!
Our vision is to be a proactive leader facilitating strategic philanthropy and inspiring creative collaboration in the community.
Our Values
We promise integrity in all facets of our work.
