Starting a Fund is simple. Really. Here's how it works:
Donors make gifts to the Foundation
Gifts are invested and the value grows
Income from those invested gifts benefits charitable causes and the community
Starting a fund at the Montgomery County Community Foundation is simple.
You decide which charitable cause you would like your fund to support and then we'll take care of the paperwork.
With your initial donation to your very own fund, the Foundation then invests your gift and your fund begins to grow.
As your fund grows, the endowment income is then granted to the charitable cause of your choice.
It really is simple. You plant the seed, we cultivate it, and the community benefits. And it all started with you!
