Christmas came early for several local nonprofits here in Montgomery County! Representatives from fifteen agencies gathered recently to accept grant checks from the MCCF, completing our third and final round of competitive grants for 2018. In all, $163,481 was awarded, bringing our total of competitive grant awards for 2018 to $405,451. And that impressive amount is only because of the generosity of our donors, and we are so grateful.

We were so glad to have some of our fund owners in attendance at the grant awards presentation. One of those, Judy McFerran, is in the photo with grant recipient, Jill Coates, for the Historical Society. The Amy McFerran Fund was established in memory of Judy's daughter, Amy. This fund was one of three which helped make this grant for the Lane Place possible.
The MCCF manages over 200 endowed funds that were established by donors who desired to make an impact on Montgomery County, forever.
