Cybersecurity at Work

Presented by Phil Inman, Information Technology Consultant
Edge Information Technologies

Phil will share the nuts and bolts of safe computer use in the workplace. Beginning with a brief overview of how to select a computer and internet service, he will turn the focus to using them safely. He will advise how to select the right cybersecurity products for your situation (single computer, network, and types of programs used) and will share practical tips on minimizing risk while conducting daily tasks. Do you have a website and if so, does it have a donation portal? What are the risks of sending mass emails? You will leave with these answers and more!

The event is free to local nonprofits. Bring your own lunch, bottled water will be provided. The program will be informal and questions are encouraged. Seating is limited. Please RSVP to Cheryl Keim at cheryl@mccf-in.org or by calling 362-1267.
