We are fortunate to have so many people who genuinely care enough to make a significant difference in the lives of others here in Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Community Foundation Celebration Dinner gives Board members an opportunity to express appreciation for the impact these individuals have made in our community. This program is a way to give thanks to the people who make our world a better place.
These individuals represent many different segments of our community including farming, medicine, business and education. But every honoree chosen has common threads of sacrifice, devotion, energy and vision woven through their various acts of service. They willingly serve on councils and committees, coordinate fund raising events, demonstrate concern for our local environment, work hard to improve the quality of education for our children, and are active in their respective churches.
Our honorees truly reflect the mission statement of the Foundation: to build bridges to support the future of Montgomery County. We are indeed blessed to have so many people who have given immeasurably to our community. May their passion and devotion serve as an inspiration to all of us.
