Who We Are

The Montgomery County Community Foundation was created in 1992.  We are local and our governance and administration consists of local citizens.

Our Board and staff are committed to our mission and invest countless hours to further the positive work in our community and are diligent stewards of all our resources.

We work with donors to gather the resources to build endowment.  We work with investment advisors to grow these funds.  We use our experience to grant the earnings from these funds to nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County.

We oversee the administration and investment of over 100 endowed funds and process over 200 scholarship awards annually.  As of 2008, we have awarded over $9 million in grants and scholarships!

We maintain prudent and vigilant oversight of our investments so that we can provide for long-term growth of principal and income without undue exposure and risk.
