From the Executive Director . . .
As I think about the Montgomery County Community Foundation, I believe that the most important part of our name is Community. We are here to serve the needs in our local community and of course we could not do this without the many loyal donors. Donors who have helped support and grow the Foundation into a resource of over $30 million in endowed assets that have allowed us to grant over $12 million to nonprofits and award scholarships to local Montgomery County students.
As I look about our community, I am reminded of the many projects and programs that the Community Foundation has been there to start or support. MCCF is not a single-focused charity - it is instead a catalyst for change. The Community Foundation is here to enhance the quality of life in our community in a number of areas including arts and culture, historic preservation, human services, education and community development.
Our goal at MCCF is to be flexible, resourceful and helpful. Anyone can become a donor through the community foundation and when you give, our community thrives. Please look around our website and learn more about your community foundation. Also, please feel free to contact us via email or phone with any questions or ideas you may have.
Thank you.
